Launched during Expo Milano 2015, Prevent to Nourish Change marked LILT Milan’s first foray into culturally adapted prevention, using food as a tool to engage migrant communities. A multicultural recipe book blended traditional dishes with scientific guidance, laying the foundation for a new model of inclusive health education.
This pioneering initiative evolved into Health Without Borders, a long-term program that empowers Health Ambassadors—peer educators from migrant backgrounds—to promote cancer prevention within their communities which was also share Florence and Genoa (MUFPP cities).
